Habitat:

Tropical forest near streams and watercourses.

Behavior:

Probably a more terrestrial species that also inhabits carnivorous plants such as pitcher plants (Nepenthes).

Additional Information:

Females and males differ slightly in morphology; females have smaller claws and lack tufts of setae on the legs.

G. wongi was found together with G. malayanum; both species occur in the same areas.

Etymology:

Named in honor of the person who collected the species.
